The Project's mission:
The Lalibela Project's mission is to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged children in Africa
by providing them with an opportunity for a better future. The Lalibela Project was established with
the initial purpose of developing and supporting a center for orphan and vulnerable children in Ethiopia's
Lalibela region. The center provides a safe environment for children to live and an opportunity for education.
The project's goal is to supply the tools necessary to broaden these children's horizons and perspectives
on life so that they are encouraged to dream. The project will be successful when all these dreams turn into reality.
The vision for the future:
The Lalibela Project is committed to creating an epidemic of empowerment that starts with access to an environment
that promotes and encourages creative thinking and a system that will result in tangible and lasting economic
improvements. The project’s goal is to serve as an incubator of renewal, where the first step is giving children
the possibility to dream, then assisting them in accomplishing their vision, and finally redirecting some of the
newly created resources to empower others.
The Project's vision for the future is to support the development of micro- and small businesses in Ethiopia with
the ultimate objective of fighting poverty and aiding socio-economic development by providing financial and
educational assistance to individuals wishing to establish new enterprises.
